Well, I did it. I fell off the wagon.I've had the hardest time concentrating at work these past few weeks. At first, I thought it was just that I was burned out and needed a vacation (which I do, btw).
Since no vacation is forthcoming anytime soon, I mulled about in this haze for a while, and the last couple of days I've been completely unproductive.
Then, I went to the break room with one of my co-workers, and I broke down and bought a Mt. Dew. Not diet, but good ole' fashioned sugar-loaded, caffeine-saturated, Yellow No 5 containing, Mt. Dew.
It was nummy.
About 20 minutes later, the fuzz in my brain was gone, and I got two projects done and started a third.
Hooray for the magic chemical that is caffiene.
It makes you less and less confused.
