I Love Quarterbacks Eating Dirt
August 04, 2003 - 12:13 PM

Life once again has meaning.

Yes, it is that time again, boys and girls. Football season. Aww yeah.

I know its only preseason. However, it seems like it has been so long since football season ended, that even something as meaningless as a preaseason game is sweet ambrosia to my starving soul.

So many exciting questions: Will the Bucs repeat as Super Bowl Champs? *shudder* How will Steve Spurrier do in his sophomore year as head coach? How long before Rex Grossman is the starting QB in Chicago? Can Steve Mariucchi whip the Detroit Lions into something that actually resembles a football team? How will the Cowboys do with Bill Parcells as the head coach? How will Emmitt Smith do with the Arizona Cardinals?

Of course, the most important question: Who will be worse in the NFC Central, the Bears or the Vikings?

At least the Bears will have real home games this year, in newly revammped Soldier Field

Here's to Football.
