Since it was projected to come right into my backyard, I curled up into a fetal ball and cried, then ran screaming away to Gainesville, which is more inland and higher ground, to wait out Charley.

Everything is fine here, though. The rest of the state did not fare so well.

In other news, tomorrow is going to be a very big day for me. I'll post tomorrow after the deed is done.
